Dawna Peterson
Dawna D. Peterson MEd, LPC, has been a licensed family therapist for 22 years both in the U.S. and abroad. From 1997 to 2002 she practiced at the Community Services Association in Cairo, Egypt, providing counseling for expatriate and intercultural families dealing with issues of adaptation and acculturation. In 2009, she lived for six months in New Delhi, India.
Sophie Peterson
Sophie Peterson moved to Egypt when she was two years old and grew up thinking of it as home. She returned several times, once in 2005 to assist her father in a research project, again in 2007 with her older sisters to visit family friends, and again in 2009 by herself. In 2008-2009, she lived for six months in New Delhi, India. She has a Black Tip Belt in Tae Kwon Do and took two Bronze medals at the 2008 Tae Kwon Do national competitions.
Jaden Peterson
Jaden Peterson was born in Washington DC and moved to Ohio when he was two years old. He lived for six months in India in 2008-2009. This was his first trip to Egypt. For more on Jaden's trip to Egypt, see here.
